It is no secret that obesity has reached a magnitude of epidemic proportion that threatens the well being of our national citizenship. As hunger inflicts its nefarious spell upon the poverty stricken areas of our planet, obesity cast it spell of embarrassment upon the rest of our world. Evidently, the “Powers That Be,” the profiteering capitalists and the leadership of our country see no urgent need to resolve this crucial health crisis, which enshrouds the most powerful, wealthiest and greatest nation on earth with monumental embarrassment!

Obesity and the conditions of ill health that it generates, manifest over $250,000,000,000 a year for the economy. The sacrifice of health for the accumulation of wealth is a clandestine scheme deeply entrenched into the cultural blueprint of our social order.

“Children are the hope of the future and chosen navigators of human destiny. Obesity is a grave threat to such destiny. If we don’t consider obesity more of a human enemy than terrorism we will have sadly mistaken what terror really means in the future!”

The forecast and vision of our future seems blemished when tomorrow’s navigators of human destiny (children) are being disabled by an epidemic of ill health.

Parents are the makers, developers and caretakers of such precious instruments of the future; therefore, human destiny is indirectly in the hands of parents. And so is the fate of our nation. Parents must wholeheartedly accept the yoke of responsibility of the health condition of children and rescue them as innocent victims of a profit driven society gone awry!

The War on Obesity concept was conceived and developed to form a partnership with parents in providing a health movement that would greatly assist them in addressing the overweight/obesity crisis of their children.

The War on Obesity is a segment of my spiritual movement aimed at children, but not excluding adults. The approach to the problem of obesity is being staged as a battle of war with wholehearted intentions of giving exciting drama and personal identity to participants, and cultivating the individual’s desire, discipline and determination to fight the bad habits of lifestyle. The movement is being designed and engineered to explode into a very popular health trend of fad and fashion that will promote a lifestyle of discipline, dieting and exercising. My hopes are that the movement will develop such a magnitude of popularity and self-identity for children that the stigma of being fat will be removed and a sincere message sent to the overweight community that we’re all in the obesity boat together.
